If you’re after elephants and epic landscapes, try Tarangire. For unique activities like walking or canoeing, Arusha National Park is a great choice. Learn more about each park’s best season in the detailed pages linked here.

Absolutely! In fact, most of our travelers visit 2–4 parks in a single trip and we absolutely recommend it. A classic route includes Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater. Or why not add lesser-known gems like Mkomazi or Lake Natron? Contact us to get your tailor-made itinerary.

It varies by park, but you can expect to see giraffes, zebras, elephants, buffalo, antelope species, and a wide variety of birds. Big cats (lions, leopards, cheetahs) are more common in parks like Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Some parks are home to rarer species like rhinos, wild dogs, or flamingos. We list the typical wildlife on each park’s page.

Whether or not we recommend sleeping inside of the national parks depends on your itinerary, and we always suggest the most logical options in our tailor-made itineraries.
